Becoming a psychiatrist not only provides one with knowledge but equips a person with a spirit of inquiry. As a high school student who is trying to confirm this career passion, I believe the resources, connections, and research that will evolve through the Independent Student and Mentorship program will give me the insight I need to strengthen my medical passion and be a stepping stone to pursue my ambitious goal.
