Regardless of whether or not your teacher instructs you to, you will find ways to become successful in this class. I’ve filled out call-logs, written the scripts to send emails and make 'cold calls' to set up informational interviews, and found LinkedIn to be more than just a platform to showcase my achievements, using it to find professionals in the regions around me. In this way, you will learn how to network and learn more about your topic and other topics, as well. For the class, I’ve created a sophisticated, one-page resume and collected materials to ready my professional portfolio. One thing I wouldn’t be seeing myself doing if i wasn’t in this class was being very excited to view my peer's academic work too. But, this drive won’t come naturally; you need to put in the hours and find what you’re passionate about first.
